Ben has served as County Mayor, State Senate Representative, and U.S. Congressman. As a city Mayor, I was pleased to learn that Ben's passion is for local public service. Advocating for his neighbors, and friends within his community is where he finds the most satisfaction and joy. In this episode, one of the things we discuss is the SL County Mayor/Commission form of government versus the Davis County three-member Commission and the differences between the Counties. As a new Mayor, I appreciate the opportunity to listen and learn from as many people as possible. My goal is to show how Kaysville City works by sharing interviews with residents, business owners, neighboring cities, counties, government agencies, political organizations, the state legislature, and Utah's Congressional leaders.
